About
Mikimi Steinberg made aliyah on her own from the U.S. in 1979 at the age of 16 when she was a high school student in Jerusalem. “I am first and foremost from Hashem,” she writes, but I was born in Boston, MA. and have also lived in Florida and Atlanta, GA. In 1983 she moved to Safed. “I married, had a daughter, divorced. In between my medical mishaps, I enjoy being with people and being of service to them – childcare, folding laundry, dishes, food preparation for large families, or when someone is in dire need. I would like to be known as the lady who helps people – whether through my actual work or for advice and encouragement I may have to offer.”

Dear Mikimi,
Remember me, Leah Suval from Metsad, those many years ago when you came to stay with me and my children in our caravan?
Then you did the chessed of watching the Herman children so the parents could attend their daughter’s wedding in ny. By the way that daughter is a mother of many, many children now. I just want to say you were treated unfairly then and I want to apologize from my heart. Please, please accept my apologies.
A BIG MAZEL TOV ON YOUR DAUGHTER’S WEDDING!!! MAY HASHEM BLESS HER TO BUILD A TORAH HOME IN ERETZ YISROEL!!!
I have seen many stories written about you during the years and also articles that you have written. I’m always on the look out for them, they’re very good.
